Dante Marioni started blowing glass at the age of fifteen. Since then, he has worked as an assistant to Lino Tagliapietra, the Venetian glass maestro, and Dick Marquis at Benjamin Moore's Studio. At present, he resides and works in Seattle, actively participating in workshops around the world as well as in Pilchuck.
His works are in The White House Public Collection and in several major museums all over the world. In Japan, his works can be seen in the collection of The Tokyo National Museum of Contemporary art.

This five-day workshop will focus on applying colors onto a boroscilicate glass tube with glass powder, frit, gold, or silver or platinum leaf.You will make many hollow beads and discover the wonders of turning them into perfume bottles or small vessels.
